Put the garlic cloves and smoked almonds in the bowl of a food processor.

Finely chop the garlic and almonds. You should not be able to see the garlic because it will be mixed into the tiny almond pieces.

Add the chickpeas, red peppers, tahini, olive oil, lemon juice, cumin, smoked paprika and black pepper.

Puree the ingredients until the hummus is smooth. This will take 2-3 minutes. Scrape down the bowl as necessary.

Garnish the hummus with almonds, sesame seeds and parsley.

Serve with pita chips, crackers or fresh vegetables.
