Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F. Line a 9-inch-square pan with parchment paper and grease with non-stick cooking spray. Melt the butter and chocolate in the microwave. Stir until smooth.

Stir in the granulated sugar and salt.

Beat in the eggs and vanilla extract using a whisk.

Stir in the cocoa powder.

Stir the flour into the brownie batter until you just see a few streaks of flour in the mixture.

Fold in the shredded zucchini and chocolate chips.

Spread the batter into the prepared pan and top with additional chocolate chips.

Bake for 30-35 minutes until the brownies are just set and the edges pull away from the sides of the pan.
